Cascadia Splitfest is a local splitboarding festival created to interconnect and celebrate the backcountry community. The Mountain Bureau LLC is proud to be offer splitboard events and clinics for this year’s annual Cascadia Splitfest.
This course is a fun and low commitment introduction to the fundamental skills of backcountry splitboarding. You’ll be exposed to the various skills, useful in managing avalanche risk, as well as movement skills unique to a snowboarder in the backcountry. Avy Gear Kits and Split Boards are included.

Your AMGA trained splitboard guide will provide tour planning tools useful in backcountry snowboarding, as well as show you how to find good quality riding conditions while also maximizing safety.
