Black Crows skis

We are honored to represent this French, Chamonix based, ski company as our primary ski outfitter for our guides. They have skis for everything you do. In bounds or deep snow, wide and light backcountry skis for maritime climates, and damp ski mountaineering skis for long distance traverses. These skis speak for themselves. Mountain Bureau LLC owner Mark Allen works for the local forecasting center in the Methow Valley on the Corvus Freebird, tours in the high mountains Navis Freebird, and ski-mountaineers spring volcanoes and high peaks traverse in the North Cascades with the Black Crows Orb.

PETZL

Petzl is a French company that has supported climbers and skiers world-wide, with state of the art equipment for decades. They aim to to serve the mountain and vertical communities, which has enabled the company to develop and thrive over time. Their priorities are accident prevention, preservation of the environment and improvement of knowledge. The Mountain Bureau LLC stands behind this brand and uses Petzl equipment on every program.

JULBO EYEWEAR

1888 Morez, in the valley of the French eyewear industry, a Jura native launched a brand which would not yet be called Julbo, but almost… thanks to the name of its founder, Jules Baud. He started his business designing optical eyewear with one idea in mind: innovation. In the early 20th century, at the request of Chamonix crystal hunters wanting to protect their eyes in the mountains, he designed the first “Cristalliers” sunglasses, marking the start of Julbo’s optical sun protection story. Julbo has supported Mountain Bureau owner Mark Allen for the last decade during his experiences in the mountains. Julbo eye wear provides optimal vision in adverse environments.

Uphill Athlete not only offer accessible and affordable training plans, but they have assembled an exemplary team of male and female coaches. This amazing team is available to dial your custom program that will work for you and your goals. The modernized training plans work and they use great methods to keep you accountable. Motive Yoga Co. has motivated and partnered with the Mountain Bureau LLC ski programs in Norway and rock camps in the Southwestern US. They offer top notch access to what your body needs after a physical day of recreation as well making space for your mental health. The founder, Bree Dillon has also created climbing and skiing practices that can be downloaded through their store. Certified Guides Cooperative (CGC) supports credentialed climbing and skiing guides by providing commercial access to their home terrain, across the United States, and to mountains abroad.  Certified Guides Cooperative is an American Mountain Guide Association Accredited Business. This is an important relationship to the Mountain Bureau LLC as many of our guides are active members and former or standing board members of the CGC. The CGC also helps the Mountain Bureau provide access to land that we would not be able to on our own. This partnership lets our clients experience special terrain in Red Rocks, Nevada as well as Parks Canada.
