Intro to Splitboarding Clinic - Cascadia Splitfest 2024

overview

This clinic is a fun and low commitment introduction to the fundamental skills of backcountry splitboarding. You’ll be exposed to the various skills useful in managing avalanche risk (avalanche rescue, terrain recognition and avoidance) as well as movement skills unique to a snowboarder in the backcountry. We will practice these skills together, build community, and explore the Snoqualmie Pass backcountry with an AMGA Asssistant splitboard guide.
